Advertiser Check (Google & Bing)
Google publishes the ads it serves in its Ads Transparency Center; Microsoft publishes the ads it serves in the EU and EEA in its Ad Library. This actor checks a list of company domains or names against both in one run and returns one row per company: advertising on Google, on Bing, roughly how many ads, which advertiser accounts run them and whether ads ran in the last 30 days. For domains, a Microsoft account only counts if its own ads land on the domain, so a lookalike name never counts; company names are matched on the advertiser name shown by Google and the account name at Microsoft. Every row has a status: a platform that did not answer is never reported as “not advertising”.

$4.00 per 1,000 companies checked (from $2.50) + $0.01 start fee per run
Billed by Apify: a start fee per run (per GB of memory) plus one charge per company checked, also when the answer is “not advertising”, because that is the result. Exported ads and ad details are charged per ad. Not charged: companies a platform did not answer for, companies the run did not reach, invalid inputs and duplicates. Prices are lower on paid Apify plans.
Weekly quality check
Every Sunday an automated watchdog runs the live actors on Apify with fixed inputs whose correct answers are known, and checks the content of the results — not only whether the run succeeded. The results are published here as they are, failures included.
First public check on 25 Oct 2026. Until then this page lists what will be checked.
FAQ
Where does the data come from?
From Google's Ads Transparency Center and Microsoft's Ad Library API. Both are public; no login is involved.
Can I see ad spend?
No. The actor returns no spend data: it returns ad counts and whether ads ran recently. Bing ads exported with details also carry a reach range, e.g. 5K–10K impressions.
Which countries does Bing cover?
Microsoft's Ad Library covers ads shown in the EU and EEA since June 2023, with a delay of one to three days. Google's Ads Transparency Center is searched worldwide or for one country.
What happens when Google refuses requests?
Google refuses automated requests at times. The run then pauses and continues more slowly; companies Google did not answer for get the status “unavailable”, are not charged and are listed for a later run.
