App Store & Google Play Data
This actor loads apps from the Apple App Store and Google Play with the same field names for what both stores show: title, developer, rating, rating count, price, category, release and update date. That way an app can be compared across both stores row by row. The App Store can also be searched by keyword, with each app's position in Apple's search results, and App Store reviews can be added. Only apps that were found become rows; ids that do not exist or could not be loaded are listed separately and not charged.

Weekly quality check
Every Sunday an automated watchdog runs the live actors on Apify with fixed inputs whose correct answers are known, and checks the content of the results — not only whether the run succeeded. The results are published here as they are, failures included.
First public check on 25 Oct 2026. Until then this page lists what will be checked.
FAQ
Can it search Google Play by keyword?
No. Keyword search covers the App Store only; Google Play apps are loaded by package name or Play link.
Are Google Play reviews included?
No. Reviews come from Apple's public review feed, so they are available for App Store apps only.
Why do I get fewer reviews than the app has?
Apple's public feed holds at most 500 recent reviews per app and country and often far fewer – measured on 12 October 2026, 0 to 50 for many popular apps. Each row states in reviewsStatus how complete its reviews are.
